Hey, not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I found another place called "The Zone BBS" when searching for Zone BBS on google. Check it out: The Zone BBS.

That's wild. BTW, the reason it's the Zone BBS everywhere now instead of just the Zone is because of Microsoft's Zone! Games.

Lol I don't wanna go on that other zone. If the URL is any name, it doesn't sound like something that'll be much fun lol.

Really stupid question. Exactly what does the BBs in the Zone Bbs stand for anyway?

Really stupid answer: bulletin Board System. Back in the eighties when there was no real internet all we had were remote computers to dial into, usually called BBS's. It's like dialing into a site instead of typing in the address and you were limited to that. The BBS's usually had things like games (play turn-based with other board members), news (maybe?) and other stuff (files, shareware games, etc.)... In fact the other zone is much more of a traditional bbs than this zone is.

Yup, basically. We called this a BBS because some of the features here are throwbacks to the original BBS's.

I love that ... big blind site ... I always forget what BBs is ...
So Blindvi or anyoen else, James, or anyone, have you signed up for the other zone? If so, what's it like? Curious ...

I ran one of those for quite some time. I used a program called Renegade mainly, but I also tried one called Wildcat for a while. The one I really wanted to use, but never could get it to work was Major BBS.

Interesting. If anybody signs up for this other zone, let me know how accessible it is.
